Really fun! Love the theme, amazing simple art, everything works for the most part, and the sound design makes the game feel so much better, like, I literally could listen to blocks being broken for hours, it gives me those dopamine kicks! The camera shake also is nice, but too many bullets make it go crazy (and the audio). Maybe I wouldn't put too much glow on both the player and the bullets, it can be hard to differentiate them because of that at times. I really like the little detail that the walls are slightly tilted, even though it is hard to see because of the pixelization, making the bullets reflect at many angles! And also the little detail that if you move the camera the game is less pixelated, but the more you stand still, the more it becomes pixelated! There are also a couple of issues, hugging a wall and shooting diagonally kills you instantly, when there aren't a lot of enemies it becomes hard to find them. I like the difficulty of this game, it makes it stand out, but if you made it, so the player's bullets don't kill the player, it would probably make for a more expandable game in the future, and also a way for the player to dash and be immune for a bit, but for a game Jam this mimic works quite well, so I won't complain. And the levels being randomly generated makes it feel unique even with not existing a lot of content, which is a great implementation! Really nice, keep up the good work!

Thank you for such a detailed and constructive review! The idea of adding a dash mechanic is really cool, and we’ll definitely include it—we’ve actually been considering it ourselves.

The game was made for a jam with the theme "Reflection," and removing the self-damage from your own bullets would fundamentally change the experience. That said, we’ll absolutely keep working on balancing, as well as improving the audio and visuals
